The Happy Challenge – Monday Motivation

We all have days where we feel like crap. Fact.

We all have days where our problems seem endless. Another fact.

We all have days where the easiest solution is to go back to bed and ignore everyone and everything around us and live peacefully in denial about whatever ‘catastrophe’ we think we might be facing for the rest of our lives and all of eternity (dramatic much?).

Today is Monday the 20th of July 2015.

Personally, I don’t know what direction I want my life to take next. I haven’t figured out what my purpose on this planet is and I’m not sure what I want to spend my days doing for the rest of my life. I don’t know a lot of things and sometimes it can feel overwhelming… *pass me the chocolate.*

But I do know that I want to make people happy. I’ve always known this. Nothing makes me feel better than seeing someone smile because of something I’ve done, even if its just opening  a door for them or paying them a compliment. I do know that I’m motivated by happiness and I want to spend the rest of my life feeling happy with other happy people around me.

Today, I’m challenging YOU to be happy. I’m challenging you to spread happiness wherever you are, whether you’re sitting at your desk in work or lounging around at home in your pyjamas watching TV. Reach out to someone, even just one person. Talk to them. Laugh. Smile.

It’s easy to be happy if you try. It’s a mindset.

If you change your thoughts, you change your world.

I promise you its not impossible. If I can do it, you can too.

I hope everyone has an INCREDIBLY happy Monday today. I hope that this blog post reminds you how easy it is to be happy, even when the world feels like its ending.
